The
Department of Counseling and School Psychology seeks faculty members to
contribute to our mission to promote educational equity through the preparation
of culturally competent leaders in counseling and school psychology. The
department prepares school and community counselors, school psychologists,
and marriage and family therapists who are culturally competent, systemically
grounded, and committed to social access and justice. The majority of
our students bring backgrounds and experiences with ethnic, linguistic,
and cultural diversity. We are looking for faculty members who share our
values and perspectives, and who will contribute to the development of
knowledge and dynamic learning environment to inform and facilitate our
work within and across disciplines. Currently, the department offers graduate
degrees and professional credential preparation at the master's and specialist
levels. We anticipate developing a doctoral program in multicultural counseling-school
psychology; thus, we seek colleagues who will support and contribute to
that effort as well. Open Faculty Positions |
