As the Education Director and the consultant talk about the project, the client expresses urgency. She wants to put this show on the road, to get the orientation developed and delivered to the docents. There are dozens of docents in need of orientation.

The organization is providing absent and mixed messages because it lacks an onboarding process. Docents are confused and some are themselves setting policy through words and deeds. The consultant wants to do an analysis of the situation but the client says there is just no time for that. While she admits that analyses have value, this, she believes, is an especially urgent case. The client wants an outline for the program by the end of the week.
