T. A. (1997). Intellectual capital: The new wealth of organizations.
New York: Doubleday/Currency. Rossett,
A. & Sheldon, K. (2001). Beyond the podium: delivering training
and performance to a digital world. SF: Jossey Bass. Clark,
R. C. & Mayer, R. E. (2003). Elearning and the science of
instruction. SF: Pfeiffer. YOUR PICK. You will be expected to read one substantial
book about technology and education in a setting of your choice.
It would make sense for this book to help you move forward with
your paper, of course. For example, you might be intrigued with
the ways that technology is influencing higher education. Maybe
youre critical that the influence is too great or too commercial.
In that case, you might want to read David Noble. Or you might
be particularly intrigued with how to move pre-service teachers
towards more and better uses of technology. You might look at
Teachers Discovering Computers by Shelly et al. Again, your pick.
