Welcome to EDTEC 684 - for Spring, 2012

EDTEC 684 involves the basics of project management specific to the world of Instructional Design.  School teachers who are responsible for setting up a network or conducting in-service workshops. Technical writers who have to complete a help manual.  Graphic artists who have three months to complete the art work for a software program. Instructional designers involved in designing training manuals.  These are all examples of people who will benefit from this course.

This website contains current course information for all EDTEC 684 students.

We look forward to working with all interested students in EDTEC 684.  To be successful, please take careful note of the following points.  Should you have questions, or need clarification, please email the instructors before choosing to register.
  • Distance students will attend a weekly online class meeting.
  • Project Management, and therefore EDTEC 684, involves significant amounts of team work.  Plan to spend a considerable amount of out-of-class time working with your assigned team each week.  This will require careful coordination and regular communication - usually a daily effort during the intensive periods of the coursework.
Thank you in advance for noting these important points before submitting your registration.
