Introduction:
This reader is a required document of the PLC 601 Language & Policies Class. It is divided into four main sections:

Read and refer to sections as stated in the course syllabus and by the instructor. Students have the choice of reading documents on-line or printing them and creating a print reader. Note that some sections require that you print out an article or document to bring for review in class. Also each section contains an "Additional Resource" section. This section is not 'required' reading, but is meant to provide more background information or to serve as a research reference.
