Academic Coordinator of the BCLAD International Summer Institute in Avila, Spain. The summer institute, established by SDSU Policy Studies Department in 2000, is a collaborative effort between the Policy Studies Department and the university of San Pablo CEU in Spain. The institute enables BCLAD credential candidates to widen their cultural expertise while practicing and increasing their linguistic skills.

Other Interests
As parental involvement advocate, regularly provides training to parents in San Diego school districts. The training focuses in how to effectively participate in school activities, and especially in those which directly relate to the education of their children. He provides regular workshops on how to effectively participate in State, District and school committees.
