Focus on Learning & Assessment


New program beginning Spring 2007
Application deadline is November 30, 2006

The focus of this M.A. program is student learning. Teachers will work with best practices of assessment and instruction for the explicit purpose of having direct impact on student acheivement.

An added feature of this program is that courses will be designed as a blend of face-to-face and virtual, online instruction. Participants will be required to have access to basic technology.

While a site for the face-to-face meetings has not yet been arranged, the intent is to meet at a school site that will be convenient to teachers in Chula Vista and Cajon Valley. Teachers from other East County districts, such as Lemon Grove and La Mesa, are welcome to apply.
