Student Teacher, SDSU, Business Education and Math
- BS Economics/Business, UCLA
- MS Business Administration (Finance), San Diego State University
Background
I grew up in Pasadena, California but finished high school in Carlsbad, CA. I then attended UCLA where I graduated in 1987. I worked for five years in Accounting for various companies including Hanna Barbera Productions where I was the accountant for Fred Flintstone and Yogi Bear. I then returned to graduate school at SDSU where I received a Masters in Business Administration. With that degree, I decided that what I really want to do is teach. That is why I am currently in the Teaching Credential Program at SDSU.
Interests, Activities & Plans
I am currently a student teacher at O'Farrell Community school and Morse High School. I hope to get my teaching credential in Business Education with Supplemental Credentials in Economics and Math. I also hope to coach athletics, having coached the freshmen girls softball team at Carlsbad High School. I believe I can coach softball, baseball, tennis, and basketball.
Other Interesting Things
I love sports whether playing, watching or coaching. I also enjoy gardening, the beach and planting trees.
