I'm a student teacher at O'Farrell/Morse High School I will be working in the mathematics department

Background

I was born and raised in El Cajon, California. I graduated from Granite Hills High School in '88. I grew up playing sports, mostly football, and I eventually want to coach. After high school I attended New Mexico Military Institute followed by the U.S. Air Force Academy. I decided the military was not for me after realizing I would not obtain a pilot slot. Therefore, I chose my next most desirable occupation, teaching/coaching. I have since worked my way through SDSU while working in the service industry.

Interests, Activities & Plans

I currently am working in the service industry, although only to pay my bills, for college, and for the credential program. I enjoy all types of sports and outdoor activities. I plan on teaching math and eventually P.E., while coaching football and track along the way.

Other Interesting Things

As mentioned before, I enjoy all sports, however, football is my favorite. I also enjoy camping, fishing, and hunting. I basically enjoy being outdoors with God's creation. I also enjoy doing anything with my friends at the beach. The military has rubbed off on me in a few ways, however, for the most part I'm easy going.
