Student teacher, 7th & 8th grade, O'Farrell Community School

Background

I was born and raised in San Diego. I went to the University of Idaho on a Tennis Scholarship and received a B.A. in English. I also spent half a year studying Spanish in Seville, Spain.

Interests, Activities, & Plans

I'm currently pursuing a career in education. I'm a student teacher at O'Farrell Community School, a charter school located in Skyline. I teach seventh and eighth grade language arts. I enjoy working with young people and I'm looking forward to giving back to my community through teaching. I love school and I plan to continue my education until I have nothing left to learn. I also love to travel and learn about different cultures.

Other Interesting Things

I enjoy being outdoors and active. In my free time I enjoy swimming, biking, and running. I continue to play tennis, as well as coach kids. When I'm not playing sports, I like to read, listen to music, and spend time at the beach.
