Background

I grew up in Lake Isabella, a small mountain community just south of Mt. Whitney. I attended Bakersfield Community College for a short time and have recently graduated from SDSU. Previously, I worked on a B.L.M. forest fire crew for eight consecutive summers--immediately following my graduation from Kern Valley High School in 1989. I'm currently unemployed.

 

Interests, Activities, & Plans

Right now, I'm chiefly concerned with becoming a high school teacher; I have very little experience at teaching, but I've enjoyed what I've had. I plan to have a long enjoyable life in this profession.

Other Interesting Things

I enjoy various activites such as surfing, sailing, ballroom dancing, and reading great books or poetry. I surf a 9' Murphy. I just sailed my first 30' boat. My favorite dance, presently, is Quickstep. And my favorite writer is Shakespeare--of course.
