Student Math Teacher, 7th and 8th grade, O'Farrell Middle School

Background

I was born in San Diego, CA and have lived here all my life. I went to Gompers Secondary for both my Junior High and High School schooling (7th-12th grade). I graduated high school in 1990 and started college that same year (Fall '90). In Spring '92, due to personal reasons, I had to take a leave of absence. I didn't come back to State until Fall '94. I finally graduated from SDSU in Summer '1997 and I'm currently enrolled in the Single Subject Teaching Credential program (Fall '97).

Interests, Activities, & Plans

My present plans are to get my teaching credential and become a Math teacher here in San Diego county. I'd like to start teaching at the junior high level.

Other Interesting Things

I love to listen to Spanish pop music on Radio Latina(104.5) and 107.3. Some of my favorites are Luis Miguel, Shakira, Rosario, and Mana. I'm also a fan of traditional Mexican music. I enjoy listening to mariachi and banda music every once in a while.

Things that I like to do include weight lifiting, reading, crocheting, watching movies at home, and dancing.
