Objective:
Have the students do the sprint and high jump again using the techniques they learned the day before to improve their scores from Monday.
Procedure:
Have every student run a 30-yard dash again as well as do the high jump. If they incorporate the new techniques they should quickly improve upon their scores from earlier in the week. As time permits, allow them to have repeated attempts for practice as well as for improving their personal record. Record the students' best scores.
Closure:
Review scores with the students as a group. Ask who improved. Did they feel it was solely due to the techniques they saw on the video or was it due to more attempts making them more familiar with the event?
