Voices from the Inside Project

This assignment in TE954 for the T²ARP students was as follows:

• In teams of 3 or 4, you are going to do some research on voices from the inside of schools, that is, individuals who are in some way connected to schools. You will interview at least four faculty or staff members, four students and four parents/community members.
• After collecting your interview data, you will analyze it with your group, and explain what trends you see in the responses. How do they differ within groups, across groups? What major themes emerge?
• Be sure to tell, in general terms, who you interviewed: middle school students, school custodians, parents, business community members, etc.
• Take some pictures from the school(s) and around the community to integrate in the presentation of your data.
• Put the results of your group's data analysis on the Web, including your photos. This project may also be put in final form through a hypermedia presentation. This portion of the assignment will be coordinated with your EdTech 470 class.

Students used ClarisHomepage to assemble the responses into table form: to help organize for analysis and then also, to reference conclusions to the response data in its original "voice." Pictures were taken to illustrate conclusions drawn.
