Job Aid

Purpose
To guide you through the procedure of inserting images into your document. In addtion to this job aid refer to the Claris HomePage manual Chapter 4 on Working With Images.

Steps

  1. Claris Home Page converts picts to gif format simply by inserting the pict file into the Claris Home Page document. One tricky thing HomePage does when adding graphic images to a page is it will automatically place the newly made gif in the Claris folder on the hard drive unless you set in the preferences where the image is to be stored when created. To set the preferences for the folder you are storing your files in, go to "Edit" and pull down to "Preferences"

  2. The Preferences dialog box appears. In the "Converted Images Folder:" Select Set and you will be prompted to tell Claris HomePage where to store converted images.
