Here is an overview of what your own online course site will look like when you have completed the T3 Institute. The documents we will work on in this module are the Instructor Home Page and the Course Marketing page.

In this module you have three tasks:
- Create an Instructor Home page.
Download the folder called "MyCourse."
- Macintosh users may download MyCourse by clicking here.
- Windows users may download MyCourse by clicking here.
- Unix users may download MyCourse by clicking here.
TIP: Mac or Windows users may download template files directly from the course modules themselves, or from theT3 Templates page. You may download software from the Tools page. (both pages are available from the menubar at left.)
This folder contains all the templates and graphics for creating your own course module. The "Instr.html" file is the document you will open to begin your Instructor Home page. It is a Claris Home Page document providing you with the basic scaffolding and directions for creating an Instructor Home page. Follow the instructions throughout the template. For more details, refer to and print the:
- Graphics Job Aid: describes how to set vital graphics preferences in Claris Home Page.
- Claris Home Page Job Aid: describes how to open a Claris Home Page document and proceed.
- Add/Delete Graphic Job Aid: describes how to add and delete gifs
In addition to Job Aids, refer to the Claris Home Page online help, manual, or aftermarket book. Give yourself time to play and experiment with Claris Home Page software.
TIP: You may rename the MyCourse folder to reflect the name and/or number of your own course. But do not rename or rearrange html or graphics files (unless instructed) within the folder until you understand and can deal with the consequences (de-linking).
- Create a Couse Marketing page.
From your "MyCourse" folder open the "market.html" file. This is a Claris Home Page document which provides you with the basic scaffolding and directions for creating your Course Marketing page.
- Post your new pages to your own website.
Post your Instructor home page and Course Marketing page on your local web server. If you need help, consult your site web master.
