As a university professor you may be responsible for teaching different types of courses. You may be the instructor for a large lecture-style class, or perhaps you conduct small-group labs, or lead seminars with a limited number of students. Then again, you may supervise independent study projects or interns, such as student teachers. Keep these differences in mind as you go through this module. Be thinking about how principles of online course development apply to the courses you teach.
