Introduction
The ability to share information to help us all grow intellectually is one of the fundamental building blocks of education. We're all familiar with this sharing in a classroom, but what about when students do not meet regularly in a classroom setting? How do we encourage this sharing of information and knowledge? These concerns are at the heart of Module 4. The purposes of this module are to provide background information on the theory of electronic collaboration and sharing of ideas, to guide you through a variety of communication techniques, and to have you use a popular email software program to construct a rudimentary listserv for your students.
