Committee on the Web (COW): A discipline council formed in March, 1995 to promote the development of the WWW in the CSU.
CSU Bioweb: A server run by the biology discipline council and funded by the Academic Opportunities Fund The purpose of the server is to consolidate existing WWW Biological Science teaching and research resources and to create and distribute original multimedia resources for the teaching of biology. Could serve as a model for similar efforts by ASTUTE.
