Gray Whales, the annual migration . . .

Each winter from the western overlooks of Cabrillo NM, can witness one of natureÕs great spectacles -- the annual 12,000 mile migration of the Pacific Gray Whale. The whales pass Point Loma from late December through mid-February, 24 hours a day. Rangers may be available to help you spot whales, bring binochulars if possible. A whale film is shown daily in the winter.
