Latest News, Updates and Deadlines

1) The Multiple/Single Subject Credential Application Deadline is March 6, 2008.  You must contact the department to submit a last application.  Please call (619) 594-6131.

Individuals interested in beginning the Multiple and Single Subject Credential Programs offered by the School of Teacher Education in the Fall 2008 may still submit applications with the School of Teacher Education.  Credential application materials are available on the STE website.  If you are submitting your credential application after the deadline, please contact the department at (619) 594-6131 and they will review your application on a case by case basis. The San Diego State University application for Fall 2008 may be made through CSU Mentor. 

2) The Special Education Credential Application Deadline is March 30, 2008.

Individuals interested in beginning the Special Education Credential Programs offered by the School of Teacher Education in the Fall 2008 may still submit applications with the Special Education Department located in NE70.  Please contact the SPED at (619) 594-6665, for more information.

3) Multiple/Single Subject Bilingual Credential Application Deadline is March 17, 2008.

Individuals interested in beginning the Multiple and Single Subject Bilingual Credential Programs offered by the Policy Studies in Language and Cross-Cultural Education (PLC) in the Fall 2008 may still submit applications with the PLC Department located in BA248.  If you miss the deadline, please call our office and/or make an appointment with Mr. Sanz at (619) 594-5155.

4) Test Preparation

Registration for CBEST, CSET, and RICA examinations will be conducted primarily on-line rather than surface mail submissions during the 2007-2008 academic year.  Detailed registration information, including schedules of administrations, may be accessed from the testing agencies website (hit hotlinks above).

5) Academic Calendar 2007-2008
