Clear Credential Program

The Clear Credential Program is currently seeking approval by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) to address the Clear Credential Program Standards adopted in 2009 for teachers who do not have access to a district induction program. Some of the Clear Credential Program coursework may be applied to advanced degree programs offered by the College of Education.

Formerly: The Fifth Year Program and the Induction Program.

       

Prerequisites:

  • A valid SB 2042 Preliminary Multiple or Single Subject Credential, or the equivalent.
  • Verification by the employing school district or private school employer that an induction program is not available to the applicant.
  • Clear Credential Program coursework cannot be taken prior to issuance of the preliminary credential.
