Database Lesson Checklist

The purpose of this form is to guide the formative evaluation of a database exploration lesson. Print it out and have it in front of you as you look at your own or someone else's lesson. The form lists specific elements that should be in place in all such lessons.

The numbers 0-2 are used to indicate the degree to which each base is covered. A score of 0 indicates a problem. A score of 2 means that the lesson is fine as is. The relative importance of each dimension is indicated by the Weighting Factor. The score for each dimension is multiplied by the Weighting Factor, so a perfect score is 36. Your score will be multiplied by .42 to reflect the fact that this assignment counts for 15% of your final grade.
