Objective

The students will learn two sides of the Bermuda Triangle mystery.
The students will record their discovery of the facts and the myths.


Lesson


Students are going to be broken into groups of 7. Each team will be given an issue that involves the Bermuda Triangle. Each issue heralded mythical or factual. It is the duty of the students to explore these possibilities of each issue. The issues are:
  1. The Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf Stream
  2. The Ocean Floor
  3. The North Pole
  4. Christopher Colombus
  5. Flight 19
  6. The Mary Celeste
  7. The disappearance of NC-16002. DC-3


Each student in the group will be responsible for highlighting four myths and disputing the myths with corresponding facts.

  4. inquiry
  5. naval
  6. radioed
