Objective


The students will demonstrate their ability to create a dramatization.

Resources needed



Bermuda Triangle mystery story, background music, and masking tape.

Lesson


  1. Setting: lights off, eerie background music, students in a circle with their hands on the floor and their eyes closed.The teacher reads the Bermuda Triangle story to the whole class.
  2. The lights are turned on and the class is divided into groups. Each group is to dramatize a theory that will explain the disappearance of the planes and ships.
  3. Students should be aware that they are using "logical" thinking to formulate their theories.
  4. Each person is provided with a strip of tape to use a costume or a prop.
  5. The dramatization theories are presented to the class after they have had a certain amount of time to create.
