Polar Map Exercise




Use this map to construct a simple course. Have your instructor or a peer provide the clues for the race. Simply predetermine the degrees for the course using the compass, but do not show them to the person performing the race.

(Instructor: If a laser or good ink jet printer is available, feel free to download this GIF for the class. If not, I would either suggest getting one out of an atlas or something similar or have the students perform the race on the computer.)
