This semester you will be creating two interdisciplinary units, one short term and one long term. The two Webquests linked to this page are examples that were created by the PacBell Fellows. Both should give you a nice feel for how units can be structured.

For today's activity, examine the Webquests Searching For China and Look Who's Footing the Bill. Take at least 30 minutes to explore each, then complete the following information.

• As you explored "Searching for China", what impressed you most about this activity?
• As you explored "Look Who's Footing the Bill", what impressed you most about this activity?
• Which of the two WebQuests do you believe did the better job of creating an interdisciplinary unit? Why?
• Identify two or three ideas can you borrow from these WebQuests to help you structure an on-line interdisciplinary unit.

When you are ready to answer these questions, access the database and input your answers. Be sure to click on the "Add new record" to give you the room to enter your data.
