7: Distance Education - Past, Present, Future
Dr. Farhad Saba will provide you with an
introductory presentation on this subject, then lead you through a hands-on
experience with one technology for learning at a distance. Prior to tonight's
class you should have read his overview
paper.
The last part of the class will be set aside for you to work in your
groups on your Project 1 report.
You should compose it in Word and then attach it in the Moodle
forum set up for this purpose. You have until March 16 to complete
this. You can store your draft in the forum and then replace it with a
better version up until the deadline. Be sure to check your hypotheses
with Jim before getting too far along!

Reread Jones ch. 10 (You'll need this for Project 2)

Complete Project 1 by
March 16 (Group presentations on March 23).
