Specific computer/software requirements for EDTEC 470 include:

• access to a computer -- preferably one that meets the minimum computing standard (see http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/~mwssls/nws.htm) at SDSU. This should be a computer on which you may install trial software.
• headset and/or speakers (microphone optional);
• a high-speed (cable or dsl) connection to the Internet;
• updated Internet Explorer* or Firefox web browser*;
• presentation software (currently we're using PowerPoint*);
• word processing software (currently we're using Microsoft Word*);
• video editing software (currently we're using iMovie on Mac and PhotoStory3 on PC*);
• a Gmail account from Google;
• Comic Life (Mac) or Comic Book Creator* (PC);
• Adobe Reader*;
• Quicktime viewer;
• and Inspiration software* (Inspiration and InspireData)
