Create
a simple slide show using Kid Pix.
1. Design the screens
for the slide show
- Think
of a topic or sequence which can be illustrated to help convey a message.
Keep it simple and have fun!
- Open
Kid Pix Studio Deluxe from the hard drive and select the middle frame
on the top row "Kid Pix".
- Illustrate
your first scene for your slide show
- When
you're finished, select "Save a picture" from the File menu.
- Title
your picture with your initials and "1" to denote that this is the first
scene. The picture is saved in a folder within Kid Pix titled "My Pix."
- Make
your next screen for your sequence by either adding to your first picture
to or design a new scene.
- Save
this picture as your initials and "2".
- Continue
illustrating for the next picture "3". When
you have completed your illustrations and saved all of them, select
"Return to Picker" from the file menu.
2. Make the slide
show 
- Click
on the button "Side Show" and you will see a screen full of trucks.
- Insert
your saved pictures into the trucks to create the show.
On the first truck, click the left button above the rear tire. This
will allow you to navigate to your first picture and click "Open" to
place
the picture on the truck.
- The next
button on the truck applies a sound to this picture. Click and select
a sound if you'd like.
- The
last button on the truck selects the transition from slide 1 to slide
2. Select a transition and move on to truck 2. Click all three buttons
on each truck that you have a picture for. When you have finished, click
the play button (triangle) at the bottom of the screen to watch your
show!
