On completion of EDTEC 541 you will be able to:

- Use principles of navigation design to devise and implement at least 2 different navigation systems for an information multimedia Web site. *Skills: Technical; *Knowledge: Principles, Theories & Models
- Incorporate appropriate interactivity in your program. *Skills: Communication
- User principles of information design to plan and implement appropriate interactive elements in a Web-based informational multimedia project. *Skills: Communication; *Knowledge: Principles, Theories & Models
- Present your designs to others and negotiate improvements and accommodations based on their feedback.*Values: Data-based decision-making
- Use at least one method to conduct usability tests at least twice during the development period, summarize the results of those tests, and plan and implement improvements based on those results. *Skills: Technical; *Knowledge: Processes
- Digitize video, still images and audio and use them appropriately within a multimedia program. *Skills: Technical

- Post a summary of a research article on educational multimedia for the rest of the class. The rationale for this assignment is to help students become aware of the various journals relevant to our field and to begin to read and understand research in the area of educational multimedia.
