Introduction: Storyboards for multimedia products

Just as with a video, a storyboard is a useful--and usually obligatory--phase in the development of an educational multimedia web page. Unlike those for video, storyboards for multimedia products vary from strictly text based descriptions to detailed sketches of layout, content, and interface.

While the page layout in our project is already more or less specified by the style guide for the EET, each page varies somewhat in terms of size and location of graphics, animation, and video elements. The storyboard for this project will consist of one storyboard for the overall page layout that includes text and still graphics, and separate storyboards
