Introduction: Usability engineering
Once you've pulled together a prototype that includes adequate text and non-text media elements, you are ready to conduct usability engineering to get some feedback. Despite the clear value of usability testing, many developers and managers fail to perform these tests. They may think of usability testing as an expensive effort to perfect a design rather than merely improve it by soliciting feedback from a few individuals.
