To represent a superordinate (larger, broader) category for a concrete/visual object, use the
most prototypical example of the category you can find. For instance,
if you're trying to represent the category "bird," people in nearly
all cultures associate robin-shaped birds with the concept more
readily than they do chickens or raptors.
Associate an image of
the object with the image representing the category, or use an
array of images representing other examples of the category. For
abstract concepts, use a concept diagram showing the hierarchical
relationship between the object and the category to which it belongs.
First, enter a brief description of your
visual (e.g., A silhouette of a robin-like bird). Then choose an
appropriate type of representation to show the person, place,
or thing. When you're satisfied select NEXT.
