EDTEC Department resources
At SDSU, the Aztec Shops Campus Store is making an effort to provide online access to students, faculty, and staff. The following are some of the current features that you might find helpful:
- Personalized Booklist - Use your student ID and pin number to access course information for the courses in which you have registered. The list includes required and optional books sorted by title in author order.
- Book Information for Individual Courses - Aztec Shops also provides booklists for individual courses through the class schedule. Just select the current semester and then link to the course name and number.
Getting an SDSUcard (student ID card)
EDTEC Distance Students who are interested in obtaining an SDSU student identification card can apply for and purchase identification cards.

Free Web Servers
All students will need to have access to a web server in order to complete assignments. You may use just about any free or commercial Web server you wish (the free and lowest cost Yahoo Geocities accounts will not accept Dreamweaver or other FTP programs, but the "higher" level accounts will).
We recommend SDSU's Rohan server, for those who might wish to use it. By signing up for a rohan email account you get web server space as well. If you have a rohan account from a previous semester, it's probably still active as long as you've been an SDSU student. You can get a rohan email/web account by logging into the SDSU Web portal:
- SDSU Web portal (https://sunspot.sdsu.edu/pls/webapp/web_menu.login)
If you run out of space in your rohan account, you can obtain more for free by requesting it via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
