Game Response Adjective Matrix

This instrument was inspired by the work of James Russell (1980, 1989) establishing a circumplex structure of human emotional response. Russell's Affect Grid (1989) is a useful way to conceptualize emotional response, but it has proven to be too intrusive to employ in measuring a player's reaction to a game. This simplified form uses adjectives that the player can quickly point to without losing concentration.

Frustrated
