Contributions to the
Learning Environment
Introduction
We're all in this together. This value of this course is at least partly dependent on each participant being fully engaged in providing things for us to read, use and think about. There are three vehicles through which this participation happens:
- The EdGames blog is an integral part of the course. It's a place in which to share and comment on web sites whose content overlaps with this course. Because the pages are archived, it's also a way to pass knowledge from one year's offering of the course to the next.
- The EdGames Glossary is a new addition to the class. As it grows, it will become a useful reference tool for you and those who take the course in the future.
- The various forums in the EDTEC 670 Moodle provide another place that captures your input.
Requirements
During
the course of the semester, you are expected to make at least 2 postings
to EdGames. Read the Blogger
help
for guidance on how to do it.
You will also add at least 5 items to the EdGames Glossary.
And, for every forum included on the Moodle, you're expected to respond at least once to the initial discussion prompt.
Ideally, you'll be engaged enough to want to go beyond these requirements just for the fun of it.
Meeting these minimum requirments is worth 10% of your total grade.
Due Date
All contributions be accomplished by November 19, 2007.
