I was wondering what aspect of gaming you think is influencing the trend towards home schooling? The belief that you can learn better and home (and i have my opinions about this) or the belief that home schooling will reduce children's exposure to the "bad" influence of egames?

For me the issue here is the idea that parents may have about "protection/monitoring" children....when it is too much or when it is too little? As you say there are parents with good ideas and not so good ones.

There is a difference between home schooling and "unschooling". I guess the question to the poster is if they truly meant "unschooling". Interestingly, I just watched a Dr. Phil episode on this very issue this past week.
