Instructions for Applying to the SDSU School Psychology Program
Admissions for Fall of 2008 is Now OPEN.
Complete the separate Application for the School Psychology Program.
At the same time, you must complete the Graduate Application on-line. Go to http://www.csumentor.edu. While the program begins with a class during the summer of 2008, the on-line CSU application only permits you to apply for Fall and Spring semesters. If you are admitted to our program, you will automatically be able to enroll in the summer 2008 course.
Send one official transcript of each college and university you have attended to:
Graduate Admissions Enrollment Services
San Diego State University
5500 Campanile Drive
San Diego, CA 92182-7416
Take the GRE examination and request that your scores be sent to San Diego State University
(code 4682).
The School Psychology major is listed on the Fall 2008 electronic application as "School Psychology (EdS)" which you may pick from the pull-down list of degrees/majors.
Please note, as directed by the Chancellor's Office, for the time being this EdS program will be categorized as an "other master's" for application and reporting purposes, etc. Therefore, when completing the electronic application, you should select "other master's" as degree objective (not "other"), as shown below:
In addition, under Education credential objective you should choose “Applying to a credential program now.” For Credential objective name you should select “Service: PPS School Psychology.”
Finish completing the on-line application and submit it as instructed by CSU Mentor. Be sure to submit your fee payment of $55.00.
