When you logged into the Educational Technology Department Database, at http://edtechfm.sdsu.edu/, an account was automatically created for you. To move files and folders to and from your EDTEC student account use WS_Ftp.

1. Launch WS_Ftp then Click Connect on the toolbar near the bottom of the window.

2. Fill in the dialog box, like the one shown below, with your account information.

3. Notice that WS_Ftp has two windows, it should look like the one below. The one on the left shows your local computer, the one you can touch. The window on the right is the server or remote system. Move files between the remote and local systems using the arrows that separate the two.

4. Choose Exit from the file menu when you are finished.
