Copley Family YMCA Youth Literacy Program http://copley.ymca.org/
The Copley Family YMCA is diligent in its pursuit to address the problem of illiteracy among youth (between the ages of eight and eighteen) by offering one-to-one tutoring.  The location used for tutoring is established by yourself and the tutor.  The program recruits volunteer tutors and requires them to participate in a six-hour training workshop led by certified instructors.  For further questions or assistance, contact the Copley Family YMCA at (619)-283-2251.

R.E.A.D. Books is a non-profit children's bookstore in partnership with the City Heights Educational Collaborative and is next door to the Literacy Center at 4275 El Cajon Blvd, Suite 101. (619) 594-2742.
