Mission to Outer Space

          
Robot arm building status I: Students integrate mathematics with science as they figure out how to build a model of a cost-efficient robot arm for NASA.   Robot arm testing: Students test their model of a robot arm. In this case, students must build a cost-efficient robot that can lift and carry back a stranded astronaut's shuttle.
            
      A parent helps students to calculate what their weights would be if they were visiting different planets.
