Daniel Sonino

Daniel Sonsino speaks to EDTEC students about opportunities with Click2Learn.

At a SAGE event this past February, Daniel Sonsino spoke about his experience working for Click2Learn. Daniel graduated from the SDSU EDTEC masters program in May 1999 and re-located to the Boston area. Recently renamed from Asymetrix Learning Systems, his company is focusing on e-learning which harnesses the power of the Internet to let both corporations and individuals enjoy the rewards of lifelong learning anytime, anywhere. Recent clients include BMW, New York University Online, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. For BMW, Click2Learn designed a learning portal for marketing, sales, engineering and service employees that included interactive courses, video conferencing, multimedia service bulletins and online Human Resources.

Daniel indicated that opportunities for employment at Click2Learn are growing with opportunities for instructional designers. The company has offices across the U.S., including Bellevue, Washington, Needham, Massachusetts, Fort Worth, Texas, New York City, Atlanta, Georgia, and Chicago, Illinois. In addition, they're looking into establishing an office in London.
