EDTEC Contributes to SDSU Campus SDSU EDTEC faculty members often serve as "teachers" to the University community regarding instructional design and learning technologies. EDTEC faculty have offered many workshops for colleagues in the Colleges of Education, Arts and Letters, and Professional Studies and Fine Arts. As well, EDTEC faculty have played an important role in strategic planning and tactical management of the College of Education's technology infrastructure, including its four computer labs. Current or former students serve as staff for the COE's technology labs and other support services such as help desks and faculty coaching. Our alumni are key players also. A recent survey identified 29 SDSU employees who are either SDSU EDTEC alumni or current students. These individuals play vital roles all over the campus, such as serving in leadership and development positions for the SDSU Instructional Technology Center, BATS (Baseline Access, Training, & Support), the Interwork Institute, and the Language Acquisition Resource Center.
