What does a PIE contribution require?

Here are some of the questions to be answered in no more than 3 pages, normal margins and font, 1.5 spacing:

  • What is the intervention?
  • What is it not?
  • How is it used?
  • Where is the value?
  • What does the literature say about it? What contributes to success here? Failure? What empirical evidence exists regarding its impact on performance?
  • What makes it work? What examples and data enlighten us as to when, how and why to use it?
  • How does it work in authentic settings? How would people like us to use this in service to strategic goals?
  • What happens as organizations and individuals attempt to do this? What happens to real people who implement this intervention? What advice do they offer to us?
  • Comments from individual(s) who have actually deployed this approach?
  • APA references?
  • Can you provide a visual or graphic that makes it clear and vivid?

Images

Continuous-tone images such as photographs should be saved as .jpg files. Images with solid colors or line art such as clip art should be saved as .gif files. Use the 216 browser safe colors for .gif images. Don't forget to add drop shadows to give depth to your images.

Links

To link to a Web site outside of the PIE, use a "target=_blank" tag so the link will open in a new browser window. Click here for an example.

If you are submitting your file as a Word document, simply put the link directly in the body of the document, UNDERLINE the text that you want to be the link, then put the URL in brackets just after the text.

For example...
A great resource for performance support is EPSS central [link to http://www.pcd-innovations.com].
