Background

I grew up near Pittsburgh, PA. I've taught kindergarten, fourth grade, junior high, high school, and college mathematics. I've also taught preservice and in service elementary teachers.

Activities/Interests/Plans

I'm currently interested and involved in several things: helping student teachers learn how to teach math, helping in service teachers enhance their mathematics teaching, especially focusing on meeting the needs of all students. I co-direct a project that helps teachers, parents, college students, and industry help inner-city elementary school children excel in mathematics.
