Welcome!

We want to thank you for welcoming an SDSU  PIE Blockstudent teacher into your classroom. Your willingness to guide a novice into the teaching profession will have effects long past the semester the two of you spend together.  As Guide Teacher, you will model first hand effective teaching and caring classroom management.  You are the bridge that connects theory and practice.

What the student teacher learns from you will be reflected in the student teacher's classroom for years to come.

Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a cpmmunity of caring professionals to help a novice educator become an excellent teacher.
