Welcome to Partners in Education (PIE)
Welcome to San Diego State University's Partners in Education PIE), a single subject teacher credential program for those wanting to teach in middle or high schools. Located on the La Mesa Middle School campus in La Mesa, California, PIE has been preparing student teachers in the La Mesa/Spring Valley and Grossmont Union High School Districts for more than 30 years.
We offer an excellent teacher preparation program that not only fulfills the the California requirements for earning a credentail and the mission of the San Diego State University School of Teacher Education, but also strives to meet the needs of San Diego's East County middle and high schools and their students and families.
