RM Brown

Rita Mae Brown (1944- ) Always known for her openness about her lesbianism, Brown swam energetically against the tide in the 1960's and 70's. Her first novel, Rubyfruit Jungle was written in 1973, but not published by a mainstream publisher until 1977. Her humor and pathos led to great popularity in the mass market and her subsequent books have been enjoyed by a wide cross-section of the population.

Chamberlain

Richard Chamberlain (1935- ) During an acting career that has spanned 3 decades, Chamberlain has moved from the popular weekly series, Dr. Kildare, to the well known mini-series', The Thorn Birds and Shogun. He is also quite developed as a stage artist, performing Shakespeare and numerous other theatrical works.
