Barney Frank | Marvin Liebman
Barney Frank (1941- ) spent many years in the Massachusetts state legislature before being elected to the U.S. Congress' House Of Representatives. In 1987, Representaive Frank became the first member of the House to publically and voluntarily disclose his homosexuality.
Marvin Liebman (1923- ) is a conservative Republican politician and in 1990 he authored a book entitled Coming Out Conservative. One of Liebman's major motivations for writing this book was to dispel the perception that the Republican philosophy was closely aligned with that of the anti-gay religious right.
